How long have you been working with CottonBee and what made you choose our services?

I have known CottonBee for a year now. I came across your site through Google and was surprised by the large selection of patterns and types of fabrics. I love colourful and eye-catching patterns, so CottonBee is just right for me and my dress collection.

Where do you get your inspiration for designing clothes and accessories?

I collect a lot of inspiration via Pinterest and Instagram, which I use for my die-cuts.  I also find inspiration when travelling around the big city or in boutiques.

What does your design process look like from the initial concept to the final product?

I start with a drawing and then use it to create a prototype pattern and a prototype blank, which I sew step by step. During this process, sewing instructions are created and the pattern is reworked into a PDF file. This makes it easy for anyone, even a beginner, to sew all the dress designs at home.

How do you use CottonBee printed fabrics in your designs? Do you have a favorite fabric that you enjoy working with?

I love the Sport Lycra or Swimwear Lycra fabrics. I find it very practical for clothes because the surface is smooth and high quality. It goes very well with elegant summer dresses or classic evening outfits. The colours on this material are also very strong and durable. I really enjoy working with them.

How do you ensure sustainable practices in your work? Are ecological and ethical considerations important when choosing materials and production processes?

Yes, it is important to me that materials are produced in a sustainable way. We should pay attention to this not only when buying clothes these days, but also when choosing the fabrics for our clothes. This was also the reason why I started sewing back then. There were hardly any sustainably produced clothes on the market, so I decided to sew my own clothes by choosing the right fabrics.

How do you rate the quality of CottonBee’s services and the quality of the fabrics we print compared to other suppliers?

I like the quality of the fabrics, they are very strong and durable. The colours don’t fade in the wash and remain vibrant and bright. The fabrics are also great to work with. It’s great fun to work with them.

How do you see future cooperation with CottonBee? Do you have any suggestions or expectations for our services?

I am really enjoying the collaboration with CottonBee. There may be many wonderful colourful creations and pattern collections in the future inspired by CottonBee’s choice of sewing materials. Our ideas at Hanna Louise are varied and include patterns for jackets, skirts, shirts and elegant dresses. CottonBee creations are still being developed.

How has the collaboration with CottonBee affected the perception of your brand among customers and in the industry? Have you noticed an increase in interest in your products as a result of this
collaboration?

Yes, colourful and eye-catching fabrics draw the eye and interest of customers. I specifically choose designs with strong motifs to focus on the garment being sewn. CottonBee fits perfectly into the creation of designs.

What advice would you have for other designers who are considering using fabric printing services from CottonBee for their projects?

Choose colourful and unusual fabric patterns. The more colourful, the better. The colours at CottonBee are unique and enhance the look of the garment. If you are unsure about your fabric choice, you can also order fabric samples in advance to perfectly match your project with the right type of fabric. CottonBee is a guarantee of sewing pleasure.
