Sustainability What is the difference between pigment printing and sublimation printing?
Pigment Printing:

– The dye is applied to the surface of the fabric with a finishing agent – resulting in a very detailed and sharp print.

– The print is not felt to the touch; knits remain elastic, fabrics stay soft and breathable.

– Complex tonal gradients are possible, though black is not deeply intense.

– Environmentally friendly – no chemicals and minimal waste.

– Less durable – may rub off when wet and slightly fades after washing.
Sublimation Printing:

– The dye penetrates the fabric structure – creating a durable and invisible print.

– Ideal for polyesters (100% or at least 80% synthetic fibers).

– Uses transfer paper – slight shifting of the paper can cause minor blurring.

– Print is stretch-resistant, with vibrant, clear colors.

To what countries are you shipping your fabrics?
We ship printed materials via FedEx/UPS to EU countries, the UK, Norway, Switzerland, and the USA.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery time depends on the destination country and the carrier and usually takes between 2 and 14 business days. The exact date is also shown in the cart summary.
What is the minimum order size?
At CottonBee, we want to lift any restrictions on fabric printing. That is why you do not have to place bulk orders. You can order a cut of fabric from a bolt starting at as little as one running metre.
We also offer 20 cm x 20 cm printing samples and 48 cm x 48 cm swatches.
Can I hope for a discount if I order more fabric?
Discounts are applied automatically when you add the required amount of fabric to your cart. Thresholds:
- 10 m: 10% discount
- 20 m: 20% discount
- 30 m: 25% discount
- 40 m: 30% discount
