Are your fabrics suitable for sewing clothes?
Both our woven and knitted fabrics can be used to sew clothes efficiently. Cotton fabrics are airy, do not cause allergies and do not irritate sensitive skin. Our fabrics are OEKO-TEX certified, which means they are free of harmful substances at concentrations that are detrimental to human health, including pesticides, chlorophenols, formaldehyde, allergenic dyes, prohibited azo dyes and extracted heavy metals.
Our organic cotton fabrics are GOTS-certified, so you can make clothes and accessories that are ecologically sustainable and free from chemicals. Organic cotton woven and knitted fabrics are perfect for everyday clothing, bed linens, accessories for children, and more.
What can you sew using our fabrics? Both cretonne and satin are virtually universal fabrics – you can sew lightweight dresses, skirts, shirts, but also bed linen, shopping bags and various home decorations. Single jersey is a terrific fabric for t-shirts, leggings, overalls, children’s clothes and even underwear. Interlock is a sensational knitted fabric for the youngest and those with sensitive skin – it is a soft and pleasant knitted fabric without the addition of synthetic fibres. The loopback jersey is perfect for sewing jumpers, sweatsuit sets or dresses.
Cotton fabrics of higher grammage, such as panama and gabardine, require dry-cleaning, which is why we recommend these particular fabrics for various accessories or interior design elements. You can also use them for sewing outerwear or clothes for special occasions and dry-clean them if necessary.
