Can I print a photo on the fabric?
Of course! Digital printing using pigmented inks allows you to achieve sensational tonal transitions, which are extremely important when printing photos. With this printing method, you can easily obtain detailed reproductions of your photographs, from which you can make a seamless pattern or a picture for your living room. Remember that the photo must be in a proper resolution. Make sure that your photograph has a minimum of 150 dpi. It is essential to save the photo in the CMYK colour palette, in the CMYK colour profile: U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2. It is best to save your photograph in TIFF format, which is recognised by most graphics programs. We also work with JPG and PNG files.
If you want to make a pattern for a sewing fabric using your photo, choose a fitting object to photograph. In this case, geometric forms that fill the whole frame from top to bottom, side to side, will work. A brick wall, terraced houses, windows creating a pattern on the facade of a building, tiles on the floor or building blocks.
